We offer an exciting and challenging role at the interface between product development and production of diamond inserts for diamond drilling and sawing. You will be responsible for managing projects to industrialize new product lines, developing new manufacturing technologies with a strong focus on sintering technologies and driving smart factory optimizations in the production of our own plant as well as in our global production network. Having a passion for innovation and a drive for success are key factors in this role to keep Hilti Diamond Inserts ahead of competition.

University degree (PhD, M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
Affinity and willingness to technically deep dive into leading edge production technologies
Experience in technical and/ or international project management
A passion for innovation and a strong analytical mindset
Pronounced multi-level and intercultural communication skills
Fluent in English and German
As Project Manager Engineering you will be responsible for developing production concepts for new product lines of diamond inserts from the initial idea till the implementation, including the manufacturing and evaluation of prototypes. You will work in an exciting environment of interdisciplinary teams with development, engineering, production, and quality and make use of a strong network of internal and external partners to develop new technologies for future diamond insert products. To drive continuous improvement of our existing production you will be part of the plant initiative for smart factory and support our partner plants in the global manufacturing network.
